We are looking for friendly, dynamic, detail-oriented people who can help business owners across California support their local governments.


You will be part of a carefully trained team working to perform semiprofessional accounting work involving preparing, analyzing, and processing remittance of payments to our clients working out of Fresno, CA with about 100 employees.


Our company is over 35 years old and this work has been growing fast for the past seven years. Likewise, this career offers the potential for promotion and growth within the company. This is a full-time year-round job, with health benefits.  We are growing very fast now due to the pandemic’s impact on municipal budgets, and are looking for dedicated people who want to help make a difference.



  •  Handling and depositing of checks and money orders, reconciling cash receipts
  •  Research problems/questions from operations to provide interdepartmental support
  •  Process inbound mail and prepare deposits
  •  Process returned payments and customer refund requests
  •  Reconciliation of bank statements, general A/R and A/P maintenance
  •  Preparation of client disbursements and remittance reconciliations
  •  Direct support to Remittance Manager
  •  Knowledge and general understanding of local government tax functions a big plus


Job Requirements

  • The ideal applicants must have basic knowledge of cashiering procedures, modern office methods and procedures including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • The ideal applicants must have the ability to: work independently in the absence of supervision; accurately handle money, balance, audit and reconcile transactions; perform comparisons of data; plan and organize work to meet deadlines; communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing; establish, maintain and foster positive working relationships with peers in the course of work; exercise good judgment, flexibility, creativity and sensitivity in response to changing priorities
  • Detail oriented and thorough
  • High School Diploma, or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.)
  • Two years of office experience involving financial records is preferred, proficient at written communication including typing, 10-keying
