Location: Remote

The Provider Enrollment Lead is responsible for the daily supervision of the Provider Enrollment Specialists. This individual is accountable for the results of the Enrollment staff; as well as the monitoring and reporting of enrollment team operations and metrics. Under the guidance of the Manager of Credentialing and Licensing, the Provider Enrollment Lead will develop plans to guide staff and provide recommendations on department policies and procedures. They will assist with implementing process improvements to assure operational efficiency within the department and to meet standards for accurate, timely payor enrollment submission.

The Provider Enrollment Lead needs to remain current in the payor enrollment process as well as contractual requirements related to provider enrollment.. They will apply in-depth functional knowledge, and leadership expertise to achieve focused business goals. They will manage complex situations to achieve business unit goals and will implement, monitor completion, and assure the accuracy of defined cross-functional policies and procedures. They will help identify long-term solutions to standardized enrollment operations and will implement short-term solutions to allow the organization to operate at peak performance.

What You'll Do:
  • Under the supervision of the Credentialing and Licensing Manager, the Provider Enrollment Lead is responsible for daily leadership and supervision of the Enrollment Specialists
  • The Provider Enrollment Lead controls the workflow of the Enrollment team and ensures the proper and timely completion of tasks
  • This position also reviews and audits various reports and ensures all Enrollment processes are compliant
  • Delegates work to the Enrollment team, track progress, evaluate performance, and provide constructive feedback
  • Responsible for assisting with the training and development of enrollment specialists.
  • Prepares and maintains standardized training documentation and operating procedures.
  • Assist with the review of A/R reports and working enrollment-related denials.
  • Responsible for all group/practice enrollments to include Medicaid, MCO, and commercial payers.
  • Other duties as assigned

What Excites Us:
  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum 3 years of payor enrollment experience is required in multiple states (Medicaid, MCO, Commercial)
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers and providers
  • Skilled in problem resolution; recommends suggestions to increase accuracy and/or efficiency
  • Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Analytically oriented, comfortable using different data management and reporting systems

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, with a base salary range of $26.75 - $31.50/hour with eligibility for stock options, a 401k match, healthcare coverage, paid time off, and a broad range of other benefits and perks. Peruse our benefits at Hazel Health Benefits .
