Job Description

The Environmental Safety Coordinator in New Jersey supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.

  • Oversee all aspects of an environmental remediation project ensuring OSHA compliance
  • Conduct daily safety meetings
  • Oversee heavy excavation and shoring
  • Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
  • Daily safety audits and inspections

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of environmental safety experience required
  • OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required
  • 40-hour Hazwoper Required
  • Respirator and air monitoring experience
  • First Aid/CPR certified
  • Strong knowledge of remediation at hazardous waste site standards
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
