Front Desk Receptionist

Hays PLC is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, full-time Receptionist/Office Assistant to manage the front desk & office at our busy NY Showroom near the garment district.

Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Handling and forwarding incoming calls
  • Checking company general voicemail
  • Greet and assist visitors and applicants
  • Distribute and mail packages via US Mail/UPS/FedEx
  • Order and stock office supplies and snacks
  • Keep inventory, order and maintain office equipment (schedule repairs)
  • Track apparel samples as well as tag and hang samples
  • Organize breakfast and or lunch for meetings
  • Keep reception area and showroom clean
  • Distribute checks and contents received from CA office
  • General support to corporate HR and Management
  • Coordinating and overseeing office events
  • Help with office errands (for the CEO & Chairman)
  • Making sure supply closets are in order at all times
  • Send monthly expense report to manager

Skills & Abilities

QualificationsPreferred:

Currently attending college or fashion/design school

Minimum 2 years of office experience

Microsoft Suite (Outlook & Excel) a must

Fashion industry experience
