Regional Facilities Manager in San Francisco to oversee large portfolio of corporate offices across the Bay

Our full cycle real estate client have a rich history of developing and managing high class real estate and are looking to add to their team in their fast growing 3rd party Facility Management business, working with an exciting 'household name', blue chip client
Your new role
This Regional FM will be based at client offices and will oversee the service delivery of facilities operations across the Bay Area California, based out of the San Francisco offices. The portfolio is predominantly high end, versatile commercial office space, in excess of 1MSF. The job duties for the Regional Facilities Manager will include, among others, developing the working partnership with the client, managing and developing an in house FM team, establishing scope of works and, above all, ensure the successful building operations to their corporate real estate.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience managing a large, busy and growing facilities contract in the past. It would be useful if you had experience working for a third party service provider, or working closely with FM providers in the past, and particularly from contract start up. You must have previously worked on corporate/commercial property in the past, ideally high-rise.
The Regional Facilities Manager must have at least 5 years senior Facilities Management experience. It is essential that you have demonstrable experience managing and developing teams across a number of regions too. Accreditation from IFMA, BOMA or other industry associations would prove advantageous, and you will have experience working within a professional, corporate environment.
This is a highly client facing job, and so communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to prioritize internal and external requests will be paramount to your success, with a significant focus on customer and client satisfaction. You will be comfortable with numbers, financial management and reporting, and will be a confident people manager. Travel outside of Boston will occasionally be required.
