RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:
Ensures that company Project Management and Quality Control standards are effectively implemented.
Maintain project Quality Control as defined by USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors as required for our Federal work as well as project plans and specifications, review work for compliance; perform, schedule, and witnesses inspections/testing as outlined by QCM requirements
Assumes overall responsibility for safety, quality and productivity of subcontractors
Oversee and maintain document controls- submittals, RFIs, change orders, as builts, correspondence, etc
Oversee and implement subcontracts, help build and implement project schedule, procure and track materials
Develop and maintain project billings, monitor project cost control, monthly job cost review
Monitor all construction activities and documents results
Prepare agendas and lead QC and project meetings
Develops punch lists and final inspection and acceptance
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
Graduate of a four-year accredited college or university program in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or Building Science
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a QC Manager
Minimum of 10 combined years of experience as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer on similar size and type construction contracts.
Posses current certification of Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors course
Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite-general knowledge of P6, Blu-beam, CADD, etc
Exceptional project management and organizing skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to supervise and support others effectively
Ability to gain federal base access
OSHA 30-hour certificate required for this position (OSHA 30-hour training will be provided if candidate does not possess)
