Under the direction of Director of Global Marketing, the Production Designer works closely with our diverse marketing and cross functional teams across a variety of projects including, but not limited to, advertising, branding, editorial, CPG food packaging design, UI/UX, wayfinding, and environmental design. The production designer focuses on supporting the day-to-day and long-term strategy and design of packaging and marketing collateral while also working closely with vendors and stakeholders to bring the company’s vision to life.
Create packaging design for new or revamped items from mock-up through to mechanicals and printing, working within.
Work on many different types of projects, including but not limited to Multi-Page Publications (catalogs, magazines), Websites, Advertising, Packaging, Branding/Visual Identities (logos, etc.)
Participates in marketing strategy sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
Produce and create digital web and print creative, including updating web pages and custom page layouts, email templates, reports, signage, banners, etc.
Ensure graphic solutions are optimized for integration, performance, usability, and sustainability, as well are prepare/finalize filers for production.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Graphic Design, Advertising, Communications, or similar field.
2+ years of experience in creative design (corporate websites and social media pages, packaging, advertisements, collateral, etc.)
Expertise in packaging design, concentration on food CPG packaging.
Understanding of fundamental design principles such as color theory, typography, information design
Mac Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
Strong online portfolio showing a range of work
Extensive knowledge of printing processes and production
Ability to take creative direction and execute
Ability to work well with autonomy
Self-starter who can take accountability and ownership of projects
Positive, upbeat, happy approach to work and life
Proficiency in Photography/Video
Proficiency in UI/UX Design
