The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the accounting function, creating, implementing and maintaining financial policies, procedures and internal controls. This role will also be responsible for overseeing the daily accounting including managing cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, monthly close process, and reporting. The Controller will work directly with the CFO to manage the budget process, and research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and serve as a liaison to external auditors. The position reports to, and assists the CFO.
Required Education and Experience:
· BA in accounting or finance with 10 years managerial experience
· MBA with 7 years of managerial experience
· CPA certification is highly desirable
