Construction Engineering Project Manager

PROJECT MANAGER - ENGINEERING

This is an advanced technical management and engineering position that manages consultants, contractors and technical staff on the engineering and constructability of projects, ensuring that projects are properly engineered, planned, scheduled, coordinated, constructed, and work is completed in accordance with the contract, Technical Specifications, on schedule, and, within budget.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical and/or management degree.
• Experience in construction and/or project management of industrial applications, steel structures.
• Advanced skills in writing and verbal communication.
• Expert ability to create and write project documents and to read and understand construction plans.
• Strong ability of proactive skills in work responsibilities, attentive to details and procedurally savvy.
• Thorough knowledge of project management, construction, structures, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings and contract requirements.

YOUR ROLE IN THE COMPANY:

• Manage and supervise engineering consultants and contractors engaged in the design, construction, fabrication, refurbishment, installation, manufacturing, and upgrade of heavy equipment.
• Manage multiple projects which include construction of foundation, buildings and civil works, specialized services of structural erections, large scopes of work, and major equipment acquisition.
• Coordinate projects and ensure the proper documentation is maintained.
• Responsible for all aspects of a project from inception of planning through final completion and acceptance.
