Job DescriptionCompany Description
Harrington Moving & Storage is seeking a CDL A Company Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
We're happy to offer our employees:
- 2 weeks paid vacation first year
- 40 to 60 hours per week guaranteed
- 5 sick days per year
- Commission on materials
- Load bonuses
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and unload cargo
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must have Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds.
- Flexibility – Saturday's
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
