Exceptional opportunity for a successful food service professional to join the executive leadership team of a highly regarded foodservice management company.

Harper Associates has been retained to recruit a Vice President of Foodservice to lead the expansion into school food service. The Vice President will identify opportunities for food service contracts in K-12 and charter schools, write proposals to secure the contracts, and build out the business model. This person will see the entire process all the way from RFP to running operations.

The ideal candidate is someone with extensive experience overseeing a large region as a Regional Director, District Manager, or VP of Operations with a contract food service company. This person must have an in-depth knowledge of writing proposals, submitting bids, and closing deals in school foodservice. Beyond the sale, the VP of Foodservice must have demonstrated experience in creating management structures, writing budgets, and managing operations within a contract foodservice company. A successful Vice President of Foodservice will have the opportunity to advance to the COO level!

To qualify, candidates must have 10+ years of high-level (Director of Operations / Vice President) sales and operations experience in the contract foodservice industry. Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Metro Detroit area.
