The Customer Service Representative will be the primary back-office support person for our Customer Service Project Management Team. The Customer Service Representative will receive a request via a ticket system from the PM-CSR and complete the request and close out the ticket (primary functions are listed below under Essential Duties and Responsibilities).
In addition to working with Project Manager – Customer Service Team, The Customer Service Representative will need to work with Business Development (Sales), Manufacturing Production Control staff, Purchasing Department and Quality Department as needed. A basic level of printed circuit board or electronics technical knowledge is helpful but not required. This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Quoting – Receiving information from the PM-CSR or Business Development Rep and deciphering it to properly quote the price as well as lead time of the project.
2. Order Processing – Using Harbor Electronics ERP system (ProCim) to enter the order properly so the design, manufacturing and assembly process (if needed) can begin.
3. Status Reports – Monitor system generated progress reports and confirm their accuracy and distribute as requested.
4. Returns / RMA – Issuing RMA numbers for all defective returns and managing the return until completion.
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
2 years of experience in Customer Service or Project Management.
