Job description
Harbor Club on Lake Oconee, a gated golf community, is seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and experienced Food & Beverage Manager with a history of event coordination and execution. This manager would handle daily employee and guest relations, help with inventory and ordering, and other day-to-day tasks in our Clubhouse including scheduling and payroll submission.
On the event end, the candidate would help coordinate the groups that frequent the Clubhouse, help organize and execute tournament catering orders, and would work with other managers on Clubhouse items needed for execution of events. Some events include weddings, golf tournaments, Member-based events, and trivia nights.
This position is fluid and ever-changing as you are part of our hospitality department in our 15,000 sq. ft, Stephen Fuller designed Clubhouse. We are looking for someone adaptable and ready to bring positive changes to our food and beverage team.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer concerns.
- Work with Chef to regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Ensure effective work schedules are created in a timely manner.
- Ensure team members and managers receive proper training and development.
- Create and maintain a positive culture within the location.
- Manage profitability through driving sales, controlling costs, developing team members, and ensuring operational standards are consistently upheld.
- Proactively manage restaurant operations to include planning/forecasting of weekly sales, labor, and cost of goods
- Develop action plans to improve execution of processes to increase sales, profitability, and guest experience.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role
- 3-5 years restaurant management experience preferred.
- Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
- Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 45-50 hours per week.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Successful completion of background check
