ABOUT HAPPIED: Happied, named one of the most promising startups of 2020 by Technical.ly, is a platform for virtual team building and client development that tastes good. We believe virtual engagement should be fun, meaningful, and pleasing to the palate. Our platform guides groups through virtual experiences that are tailored to the specific occasion-- starting with a kit delivered right to each attendee's door. Kits include quality ingredients for a variety of activities, from mixology, to charcuterie boards, to bubble tea, to sushi making. Our clients include Fortune 100 companies, dozens of the nation's top law firms, and more.


VIRTUAL EVENT PLANNERS:

Our Virtual Event Planners (VEP) are responsible for managing corporate virtual experiences from to execution. Once a client books an event with us, the VEP will communicate with the client to coordinate logistics for all aspects of the event execution. This includes incorporating client specific requests into the event flow, generating a sign up page, generating calendar invites and Zoom links, sending RSVP and logistics emails, coordinating with talent, and responding to all customer service inquiries for that account. The Customer Success Manager is expected to provide timely, top-tier customer service throughout the entire experience that wows the client and results in a fun, memorable event.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Event Planning: The VEP will handle the following aspects of account management for dedicated accounts assigned to said planner:

  • Tailor Happied standard run-of-shows to the specific client
  • Ideate and execute ways to better improve each client experience

Communications

  • Welcome and initial curation emails
  • Logistics emails with instructions and Zoom links
  • Responses to all dedicated account customer service inquiries
  • Follow-up email post-event

Scheduling

  • Scheduling event talent
  • Coordinating walk through with talent
  • Sending calendar invites to all attendees, bartenders and talents

Quality Control/Troubleshooting

  • Responding to customer complaints
  • Coordinating refunds

Requirements

The successful candidate should LOVE the thrill of events and delighting people from all over the world. They will be very detail oriented and an excellent verbal and written communicator. They will be extremely organized, friendly and responsive. They should be a problem solver and self-starter, committed to providing exceptional service and have a can-do attitude. A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
