SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the firm's capital markets and strategic initiatives within the Corporate Finance Department. The position is involved with the financial planning and analysis, strategic planning and corporate development, and investor relations. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with senior management to develop the firm's annual profit plan and the three-year strategic plan. Assists with special projects and transformations related to the firm's organic and inorganic growth goals as well as cost optimization mandates.
Ensures compliance with established Company policies and procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Bank Secrecy Act in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Information Program, Right to Financial Privacy Act (state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Responsible for conducting market analysis, analyzing research reports and identifying trends in the banking and related sectors such as fintech, consumer, and payments etc.
2. Responsible for developing professional, crisp and succinct management presentations for the consumption of the c-suite and the Board
3. Prepares presentation decks for the annual strategic planning meeting with the C-suite and the Board based on (1) operational and financial data to identify trends and drivers; (2) external factors - economic data, market & demographics, peer analysis, etc.; (3) internal factors - divisional analysis, product profitability, customer profile analysis, etc.
4. Assists with bank's capital markets related initiatives, specifically whole loan sale and securitization, and analyzes bank's loan portfolio in developing strategic insights
5. Monitors and tracks the execution and the progress of the strategic plan, conduct profitability analysis, and develop ad hoc reports, as needed
6. Responsible for general FP&A duties such as planning and budgeting as well as internal profitability reports
7. Assists with due-diligence of potential acquisition/JV/MOE candidates in the pursuit of inorganic growth
8. Leads special projects, as needed, in support of the firm's growth initiatives
9. Responsible for measuring performance against plan and reporting results to management.
10. Participates in the annual strategic planning for the institution and take ownership of the strategic planning Board decks.
11. Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
12. Develops, creates and oversees the preparation of internal and external analysis.
13. Responsible for managing the planning and forecasting process.
14. Responsible for developing and maintaining plan and forecasts in the budgeting and reporting system.
15. Evaluates profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed
16. Builds and maintains rapport with internal departments.
17. Assists with internal and Regulatory audits as required.

22. Performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.
•Bachelor's degree from a college or university in Accounting, Finance or a related field required, and 3-5 or more years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry.
•Prior experience in the capital markets, financial services or banking industry required.
•Prior experience in leading corporate development initiatives as well as banking related capital market initiatives such as loan securitization and whole loan sale is required.
•Intellectual curiosity and growth mindset, and superior presentation and business writing skills are paramount to be successful in this role.
•Demonstrated experience in loan portfolio analysis, whole loan sale and securitization
•Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, modeling, budgeting and forecasting Comfortable with developing management presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
•Prior experience in conducting market research and developing strategy decks using PowerPoint
•Excellent communication skills and demonstrated track record of superior business writing
•Basic knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and Company accounting policies and procedures.
•Basic skills related to the consolidation and reporting of Company financial results, and formulation and implementation of Company accounting procedures.
•Familiarity with an industry platform for enterprise-level risk, compliance, and management reporting preferred
•Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
•Intermediate math skills; ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
•Intermediate oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, correspondence and procedures, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
•Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
We offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary within the range of $95,000 - $130,000
