Positions are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. Perform all procedures and processes for the filling of sterile products and ensuring the cleanliness of the aseptic process area. Perform all procedures for preparing components for use in sterile filling. Set up and operate equipment, such as filling machine, filler parts, powder recovery system, vial washer, and assemble parts prior to sterilization per standard operating procedures. Employ aseptic technique while working in a clean room/ISO rated environment. Clean and sanitize walls, equipment, and floors following SOPs. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and replace damaged or worn parts. Operate equipment, such as filling machine, sterilizing tunnel, vial washer, turntables and conveyors. Operate autoclave to steam sterilize components and machine parts. Obtain appropriate components per documentation and handle per SOPs. Participate in training programs to maintain qualification status to work in aseptic areas. May also qualify for Quality Control environmental monitoring tasks. Interact with other technicians to learn processes. Candidates should be mechanically inclined self-starters with a strong attention to detail and a passion for manufacturing.
Typical 1st shift schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 4 days per week; 2nd shift is 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and 3rd shift 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Sciences, or equivalent, preferred.
Experience: One to three years in a pharmaceutical environment or manufacturing environment performing like duties. Candidates must possess mechanical aptitude and an understanding of PLCs. Prior experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
Rate is commensurate with experience.
