On any given day, you'll:

Provide word processing, spreadsheet creation, data entry, filing, meeting schedule, and other administrative support to facilitate operations and professional services in an engineering firm office.

  • Daily typing, Word Doc requests, correspondence.
  • Provide a variety of support services including MSWord processing, EXCEL spreadsheet and ACCESS database entry and reporting.
  • Answer phones and reception responsibilities.
  • Distribute daily mail and packages.
  • Maintain office and library appearance and supplies.
  • Provides support for project-based work such as photocopying, mailing, filing.
  • Office support tasks coordinating with marketing department for event planning, housekeeping tasks, answering phones and greeting guests in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrates continued and progressive knowledge of administrative tasks required for an engineering firm.


  • Efficient / accurate general office skills.
  • Ability to work independently after being assigned a task.
  • Ability to multi-task, detail oriented.
  • Flexible to support engineers in any capacity.
  • MS Office Suite, Gmail
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Desired Skills and Experiences:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic Math competencies.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit, walk, reach, crouch, bend, and walk or stand on uneven surfaces for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 10 lbs.
  • Constant hand, finger, and arm use
