THE POSITION:
The Marketing Manager will be a key member of COPA STC's team as we launch the COPA brand. Ideal candidates have strong experience in strategizing, conceptualizing, developing, planning, leading and executing marketing campaigns as well as internal and external events. This role will require an individual eager to launch a startup brand through building meaningful relationships with the public, as well as leading the charge on marketing campaigns. This person will work in conjunction with the production team to lead the marketing strategy technique. This will including brand definition, overall marketing strategy, positioning/messaging, and brand awareness through digital, event, and email campaigns. In addition, this individual will have event experience to help foster relationships with the outside public for partnerships and corporate events. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to manage marketing and host events that bring the COPA brand to life. As with any new company, we are looking for a team player who is willing to wear many hats. Ideally, this candidate would have experience in a start-up and have a passions for sports/soccer!
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Principal Responsibilities Manage and build overall email marketing strategy, delivery, and analytics
Create various CTAs ad email templates while determining email marketing KPIs
Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email
Create smart email lists, develop a lead generation strategy, and analyze data to get smart insights
Create email databases for lead generation, analyze campaign performance, and report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts.
Work with the creative team within the Marketing Department to promote and publicize events, creating effective advertisements for each event.
Research the market and identify event opportunities to generate interest.
Community outreach for the coordination of marketing and event success
Manage and oversee events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives
Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
Organize pre-event details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc.
Manage the day of event details from set up to tear down
PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
Bachelor's Degree
Strong communication skills, time management skills, and a team player mentality
Proven work experience in email marketing or as a digital marketing specialist
Hands on experience with content managing systems, email automation tools, and analytical/database tools
Impressive portfolio of previously managed events including community relations
Sales skills and the ability to build productive business relationships
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
