CDL A Company Driver

We are seeking a CDL driver for Jackson, MS. The CDL driver position is a full-time-time line haul, 8 hours a day. This is an opportunity to be home every day and work for a family-owned company with a great team environment.

Driver will be handling Retail, wholesale, industrial, and medical supplies (may include installations, servicing, pickups, and deliveries) and this may involve entering residential homes.

Schedule:

• Sunday night - Thursday night and occasional Friday nights
• 7:00pm to 7:00am

**Line Haul Driver CDL- Class A required**

Must be willing to submit to and pass a Background Check, MVR and Drug and Alcohol Screen.

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Must have 12 months previous tractor trailer driving experience
• Must have the ability to read, write and understand English, and perform simple mathematical calculations with mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc.
• Must have the ability to properly operate handheld device when required.
• Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
• Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and extended periods, of time.
• Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation.

Must be dependable and able to work with little or no direct supervision
