Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Channel Sales Manager that can deliver consistent and aggressive growth achievement through partner development in North America. Working in a coordinated sales effort with marketing, direct sales, channel marketing programs, and channel sales efforts to drive all indirect sales opportunities.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Channel Sales Director will strive to increase HackEDU market share and lead all business interactions with the Partners. They will own channel strategy, will drive partner workshops and sales events. They will drive activity from partner lead generation to sales enablement and new partner onboarding, delivering quarterly business reviews and joint go-to-market plans with regularity.

  • Must have an understanding of the channel sales process, growing deal registrations, creating incentive programs, and the ability to collaboratively communicate with the partner’s sales team
  • This is an independent work environment and in-order for this individual to succeed they must be capable of working within a dynamic and highly distributed team environment
  • You must be a self-starter that works based on a must win attitude.
  • Must have the ability to deliver consistent sales training and coordinate persistent technical trainings with Channel Partners
  • Present and demonstrate HackEDU products and joint solutions with partners and their prospective customers
  • Provide competitive feedback and other field intelligence from customers and partners
  • Prepare and implement account plans that identify growth strategies, goals, and tactics
  • Ensure the partner field sales teams are working together in the sales process, including lead generation, deal registration, accurately forecasting, and opportunity tracking
  • Prepare and maintain an accurate sales forecast of joint opportunities with partners
  • Provide regular reporting of channel activity and forecasts
  • Help evolve the HackEDU partner program by introducing creative ideas, enablement exercises, sales strategies, and partner incentives to drive growth

Required Qualifications And Experience

  • 5+ years of channel sales management experience in cybersecurity preferred
  • Senior-level and field sales relationships within national and other large regional partners in North America
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity and enterprise networking technologies
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong, independent work ethic -- experience working in a startup culture a major plus
  • Demonstrated acumen to articulate a complex value proposition in a differentiated and compelling manner
  • Four-year degree or equivalent in a related discipline
  • Able to travel
