Service Sales Manager for Residential Plumbing Firm - Montgomery County

For more than 25 years our client has been providing plumbing and drain services to its valued customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. The Montgomery County location seeks a dynamic, well-qualified PLUMBING Service Sales Manager to lead the team of 20 plus Plumbing Service Technicians to even greater success. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years direct management experience with a proven record of being able to mobilize and drive a team to achieve set goals (revenue, efficiency, customer service). The ideal candidate is a leader, self-driven and highly motivated to make a strong impact with the team, the company and our customers. This position requires a genuine desire to coach, mentor and train to grow and enhance team performance.

We would prefer our new Service Manager to come from a plumbing background or a strong background in managing a team of field technicians providing service and installation to residential customers.

• NEXSTAR experience helpful!
• Experience in other Residential / Consumer Services helpful - HVAC, Pest Control, Roofing, Landscaping, Home Improvement
• The Service Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day sales, operations and customer service experience for his/her own technician team.
• Train, Coach, Develop Tech to top performance in KPI using NEXSTAR Sales Process
• Performance Manage, Train, Recruit, Hire, Retain Tech Teams!

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• Minimum of 3 years of proven management experience in the service industry and a history of demonstrating excellence in the following areas:
• Team Development; Sales/Operations; Customer Service.
• Journeyman or Master Plumber certified preferred, but other industry experience (HVAC, Home Improvements or similar Consumer Service) will be considered.
• Microsoft Office suite of applications required
