POSITION – Junior Sales Associate

* This is a 1099 hourly position; “contract-to-hire” possible pending performance and economic conditions, and this position requires working out of both our Washington D.C. and Herndon, VA offices.

** This is a full-time sales support position, with a weekly requirement of 40 hours, to assist the Consultant Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

• Support HS Solutions Sales team with estimating requirements such as takeoffs, reading specifications, reading drawings, and administrative documentation
• Assist Business Development Team with increasing revenues within existing and new accounts
• Prospect, qualify, develop and help close new and existing opportunities
• Conduct meetings and presentations to existing and new clients
• Document all activities, plans and communications on proprietary HS Solutions' sales opportunities spreadsheets and programs
• Solidifying and maintaining new and existing HS Solutions customer relationships

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills a must
• Outstanding and professional oral, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated individual who work independently and in a team environment
• Results-driven and eager to learn and manage the entire sales process from initial lead contact to close
• Possesses a high technical aptitude with basic understanding of low-voltage hardware and systems
• Must have clean criminal record

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Experience or background in low voltage, construction, or Information Technology
• Ability to read blueprint construction drawings and specifications
• Estimating in construction

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• At a minimum, must have an Associate’s degree
• Proficient with MS Office (mainly Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint), Adobe Products, and utilizing smart phone technology
