Our client, located in Wisconsin is a premier leader in providing highly engineered products throughout OEM’s in North America and beyond. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys closing new business and meeting with prospective new clients. 

The primary responsibilities of the Outside Sales Representative include the following: 

• Closing new business opportunities with new clients that meet our client’s target prospect profile 

• Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers 

• Proactively call on prospective customers to promote capabilities of our client

• Prepare sales call reports and submit to the Director of Sales and CEO 

• Attend sales meetings and training seminars as required 

• Work with customer service, estimating, marketing, and engineering personnel 

• Investigate and resolve customer problems and issues 

• Stay current with professional and technical knowledge and industry trends 

• Follow and support all established safety policies and procedures 

• Perform other duties as assigned 

The requirements of the Outside Sales Representative are as follows: 

• 5+ years of outside technical sales experience is required

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. If non-degreed, must possess a combination of equivalent relevant education and technical sales experience.

• Experience selling to and working with engineering teams is required

• Possess a proven track record of achieving sales results

• Must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to prospects, customers, and employees of the organization; must be able to speak to technical audiences

• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities

• Must be competitive, confident, and assertive with a strong work ethic

• Must be proficient in in Microsoft Office, and CRM (Salesforce.com)

• Able to travel domestically 

• Must live within the State of Wisconsin – as this position manages WI territory 

• Stable work history/longevity in prior position(s) required
