Job Summary The Scheduler/Planner is responsible to support main areas, Procurement, inventory, machine shop and project teams during design, assembly and debug phases of Mikron projects. Another key function of this role is to support company goals, values, and operating principles. Essential Functions:
• Purchasing support
• Forecasting MI Parts
• Standard factory quarterly ocean shipment from MBO+ filler as unseen demand requires
• Forecasting non-MI parts
• Propose blanket orders quantities for lead time mitigation
• Side goal: pricing improvements for bulk buys of common material
• Intercompany parts availability checks
• Liaison with customer service as needed.
• Project Management support
• Participate in scheduling meetings for to consolidate dates for release to procurement, picking inventory to support build schedule
• Collaborate with expeditor to ensure parts availability to meet schedule
• Coordinate with inventory team to have parts pulled to support schedule
• Proactively communicate potential deviation to schedule to project team and management
• Communicate with Buyer/Suppliers with consolidated project schedules
• Internal Machine Shop
• Communicate upcoming release schedules/work volume
• Assist with creating work orders for internal machine shop
• Maintain accurate WO dates in ERP system. • Perform ad hoc duties as needed
• Technical Requirements

Education Requirements (for technical jobs → Professional Knowledge • BS degree, or internationally recognized equivalent, or 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
Other Requirements
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a valid state driver license
• Must be able to work off shift hours and work overtime (<10%)
• Must be able to travel domestic and internationally - 10%

• Timely participate in meetings
• Perform critical tasks of the role satisfactorily within 6 months of hire date
• For engineers or office roles - Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force to move objects.
• Ability to kneel/crouch, stand, pull, grasp, see and have depth perception, walk, lift, hear, reach, push, complete repetitive motions, and communicate. Working Conditions Possible exposure to noise, vibration, extreme temperatures, and work in a clean room environment. Hazards include possible exposure to mechanical and electrical equipment, chemical hazards, lasers/harsh light, and Sharps.
