Purpose of the Job / Role
• Assemble, debug, install, and post installation of machines
• Working with all internal departments and external customers.
• Support company goals, values and philosophy
Outcome Required / Strategic Priorities
• Pass interview and testing to ensure ability of job responsibility
• Participate in daily morning team meetings; as scheduled by Project Manager
• Installation at the customer site accompanied by qualified personnel
• Follow all safety policies and precautions
• Follow working instruction from Project Manager or designee
• Must be available to travel Must be available to work overtime.
• May be required to work off shift hours
• Additional responsibilities of Mechanical Technician Level II or Mechanical Technician Level III may be performed as requested by Project Manager or designee
• Flexible, Confidential and organized while addressing diverse responsibilities
• Perform each critical task satisfactorily within 6 months of hire date
• Perform other duties as assigned
Compliance
• Company is in compliance with local law, rules and regulations and follows Mikron policies
• Must follow company and customer safety policies
• Must follow company, department and customer policies and procedures
Major Responsibilities/Critical Tasks
• Receive parts from Logistics in order to assemble machinery following standard procedure
• Accurate mechanical build and installation of stations per design systems
• Alignment of the machine and conveyor circuit
• Wiring and plumbing of the machine per company’s standards
• Pre-align stations with guidance from Debug Leader or designee complexity of level I and II
• Install and change mechanical cams
• Run machine during debug with guidance from Debug Leader or designee
• Install safety guarding
• Support installation process of the machine at customer site.
Skills
• Successfully pass training on pneumatic connection for units, standard Units (P&P, MV, etc.),
• HMI level I standard base machine level I and other courses as required
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to make sound decisions, working independently and within a team structure
• Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment
• Interpersonal Skills
Professional knowledge
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings and sketches.

Physical Requirements
• Heavy Work – Occasionally exert up to 100 pounds of force, frequently up to 50 pounds of force and constantly up to 20 pounds of force in order to move objects
• Essential physical requirements include kneeling, standing, pulling, grasping, seeing, crouching, walking, lifting, tactile sense, hearing, stooping, reaching, pushing, repetitive motions, talking, visual acuity (color, depth perception and field of vision)
Additional Requirements
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid state driver’s license
• Must be able to travel as requested
• Must be available to work overtime
• May be required to work off shift hours and holiday
