Job Description

As a Solutions Engineer you will serve as a trusted advisor throughout our sales process, with an emphasis on tying business objectives to technology solutions. This role will report into the Director of Solutions Engineering. Helping business users, development teams, and C-level executives all understand how we can and will help their specific business(s) to deliver the best customer experiences - across all touch points. The ideal candidate will be located in EST or CST time zones, but willing to consider all US time zones for the right person.

Responsibilities

  1. Technical Expertise and Product Demonstration
    1. Deep Understanding of the Product

Mastery of the technical and strategic details of AB Testing, Optimization, Experimentation, Personalization, Product Releases, and Feature Flags

    1. Customized Demonstrations

Tailored product demonstrations that showcase how our platform addresses the unique challenges and goals of each prospect to obtain the

    1. Technical Presentations

Delivering detailed presentations that highlight the features, benefits, and differentiators we offer

  1. Solution Engineering and Customization
    1. Needs Analysis

Work closely with potential clients to understand the technical requirements as well as define the business goals and objectives

    1. Solution Design

Craft customized use-case examples leveraging our platform and unique architecture to meet the specific needs of our prospects and clients

    1. Proof of Concept (PoC)

Define and lead PoCs to demonstrate our impact and effectiveness in real-world scenarios

  1. Sales Support and Collaboration
    1. Technical Trusted Advisor

Act as the technical trusted advisor during sales calls and meetings, providing expert insights and answers to technical/strategic inquiries

    1. Cross-Functional Teamwork

Collaborate with product management, engineering, post-sales implementation, and marketing teams to relay customer feedback to ensure product direction meets client expectations

    1. Proposal and RFP Responses

Assisting in the preparation of technical inquiries and responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals), ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness

  1. Market Insights and Feedback Loop
    1. Competitive Analysis

Stay informed of competitor solutions and industry trends to inform sales strategies and product development

    1. Prospect/Customer Feedback

Collect and analyze prospect and client feedback to identify potential areas for product improvement or new features

    1. Product Evangelism

Participating in industry conferences, webinars, and other events to advocate for the unique custom offering and gather industry insights

  1. Technical Documentation and Resource Development
    1. Documentation Creation

Develop technical documentation (e.g. whitepapers, case studies, and/or FAQs) to support the sales process

    1. Sales Enablement Materials

Assist in creating and updating sales enablement materials, including slide decks, product videos, and demos

Qualifications

● You have two to five, or more, years of relevant experience in client facing technical consulting or technical sales related roles

● You have documented experience in frontend or backend programming languages (bonus if both!)

● You enjoy presentations. You feel comfortable leading presentations and demos of our platform to large groups, both technical and non-technical, in-person and virtually.

● You can tie business problems to technical solutions and understand technology value propositions.

● You have excellent communication skills. You can easily relate complicated concepts to non-technical people, while maintaining the ability to speak to highly technical people.

● You have a demonstrated and proven capacity to quickly absorb new concepts and technologies.

● You thrive under uncertain, high pressure, and high impact conditions.
