Forge your career at HR-1 Corp! We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Coordinator to join our team. HR-1 provides flexible services including talent sourcing/selection, employee relations, payroll administration and consultation designed to maximize engagement and minimize risk.
The HR Coordinators will primarily work with the compliance manager in addition to providing support to all members of the HR-1 team. This position provides technical resources for all HR systems and databases and will also be responsible for compiling and analyzing data, creating reports from that data, and also the distribution of reports to the appropriate people. The HR Coordinator maintains HR metrics, reviews trends, summarizes results, and will provide feedback based on their interpretation of the data.
Responsibilities Will Include:
Database creation, maintenance and manipulation.
Prioritize and complete multiple concurrent projects and tasks.
Editing and updating corporate manuals, policies, and onboarding information.
Collecting raw data and creating meaningful reports in relation to productivity, compliance, profitability, retention, safety, legal matters, attendance and other HR related areas.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers and ensure all service needs are met.
Maintaining accurate and detailed records and timelines as required by individual projects.
Qualified Candidates Must Have:
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field of study. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically: Word Excel and Access.
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:
At least 2 years of experience in an HR and/or analytical position, with progressive experience in analysis and research.
An intermediate, or better, skill level with Access, Excel, and Word.
Experience with defining, monitoring, and reporting on HR metrics.
Knowledge of Human Resources legal, regulatory, and compliance such as FMLA, ACA, and FLSA.
Demonstrated technical aptitude and the desire to improve technical skills.
Proven ability to develop ad-hoc reports, analyze and interpret data and report on findings.
Strong qualitative and analytical problem-solving skills.
Self-starter and goal oriented attitude.
Sufficient written and verbal communication/presentation skills and the willingness and ability to interact with all levels of HR-1 and its customers.
Knowledge and experience working with SQL/MySQL, Microsoft Great Plains, and or SharePoint would be a plus but not required for consideration.
