The Research and Development Engineer conducts research, processes and analyzes gas and other fluid data, research thermo-physical and transport properties, develops fluid dynamic and thermodynamic models, conducts joint development or co-engineering with semiconductor companies, research institutions, and critical sub-suppliers.

Develops fluid dynamic and thermodynamic models based on empirical data, existing physics, and/or computer simulation,
Ensures timely and accurate responses to internal requests for services. Works with other technical personnel performing complex engineering experiments to test, prove, or modify theoretical propositions on basis of research findings and experiences of others researching in related technological areas.
Evaluates findings to develop new concepts, products, equipment, or processes, or to develop applications of findings to new uses.
Analyzes collected data and draws conclusion based on this data concerning suitability of the products performance and to recommend design modifications to enhance performance if warranted.
Convert raw data into refined data displayed in a graphical nature.
Oversees the data collection, report generation and scheduling of semiconductor gases.
Ability to analyze large amounts of data for trends.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum of bachelor degree in related engineering field and 3+ years’ experience in an engineering, physics, or chemistry discipline with fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, chemistry, and analytical mathematics knowledge/ experience.
Experience working in an ISO9001 R&D environment preferred. Experience with multi-physics simulation, computational fluid dynamics is a plus.
