Reston Hospital Center, a 231-bed acute medical and surgical facility, is an HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) facility, which is one of the largest healthcare systems throughout the U.S, where healthcare employment opportunities are almost endless! We are a Level II Trauma facility and hold certifications within our stroke and total joint center and is accredited in the chest pain center. HCA Nurse Residency Program (Operating Room)
StaRN Program (22 weeks total):
Whether you are an experienced RN or a New Grad, our StaRN Program will provide you with the tools necessary to succeed in today's Operating Room environment. It will help you transition out of the classroom setting or out of your current unit and into the OR by providing you with the following training:
- 10 weeks classroom, self-study, skills & simulations
- 12 weeks preceptorship
- Certifications: ECG, TeamSTEPPS, BLS/ACLS
After StaRN, you will transition into our Professional Development Residency:
