We are adding a HR Generalist (Member and Community Relations Generalist) to our HBF team in Hickory, NC!The Member and Community Relations (MCR) Generalist will run the daily functions within the MCR department including hiring and interviewing staff; administering pay, benefits, AAP/EEO and leave processes; conducting member relations activities (investigation, performance management and engagement initiatives); enforcing company policies and practices; and managing projects.What you'll do: May oversee the completion of projects including planning; assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work; evaluating results, etc.

Assists in the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures and their dissemination through a variety of communication means Maintains all necessary records and files for reporting and audit purpose. Acts as liaison with other departments, divisions and organizations Assures that all assigned projects adhere to accepted professional standards and reviews. Reviews progress with management Participates in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organizationWhat you have: Bachelor's degree required for Level 2 Generalist, preferably in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or Communications In lieu of a degree, Member will be placed and remain at Level 1 Generalist Level 1: College Graduate through 3 Years of Exempt Generalist work; or Member without a college degree and equivalent/related experienceWhat you're good at: Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure (time, business, and societal) Ability to understand the needs of internal and external customers, the business, and the competitive landscape.

Effective team player, willing to take initiative and drive issues to resolution Effective conflict resolution and situation descalation techniques to facilitate member, team organizational and community expectations Effective communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) at all levels of the organization including strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc. Maintains the confidentiality of necessary informationWhat else: Bilingual - Fluency in Spanish a plus Primary working location will be in an office environment where low volume noise is on-going. Sitting/standing at work station for up to the entire scheduled work day.
