EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
The purpose of the Accounts Payable Clerk is to ensure that all vendor invoices are paid accurately and in a timely manner, and accounts payable records are kept organized and up to date.

MINIMUM PERFORMANCE STANDARDS / ACCOUNTABILITY:
The purpose of the Accounts Payable Clerk is to ensure that all vendor invoices are paid accurately and in a timely manner, and accounts payable records are kept organized and up to date.
JOB-SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Computer literate; accurate with 10- key pad and typing
- Self motivated, able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule
- Full knowledge of automotive ADP / CDK accounting (ONLY)
- Good interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Previous accounts payable experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aggressively and cheerfully perform or insure performance of any and all activities necessary to imporve and maintain the highest possible Dealership Customer Satisfaction level.
- Post vendor invoices into accounting accurately and PO's or requistions attached.
- Balance vendors to statements and accounts payable schedule and write checks at month end.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Issue PO's for advertising, gas and vendors.
- Provide assistance to management, other departments and employees as requested.
- File all accounting correspondence in porper files in a timely manner.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM PERFORMANCE STANDARDS / ACCOUNTABILITY:
- All vendor bills paid promptly and accurately, with no accounts being past due.
- All request for assistance and information and handled quickly and courteously.
