Position Summary

Under general supervision, perform a variety of complex administrative duties relating to employee relations, benefits, employee inquiries, processes, and procedures, prepare various documentation, coordinate the activities of employees related to areas of assignment, CONUS or OCONUS; and perform a variety of tasks requiring specialized areas of knowledge.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Assist Human Resource Manager in the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; wellness initiatives; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigation; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development
  • Facilitate onboarding and off-boarding process for CONUS and OCONUS employees, including but not limited to offer letters, new hire paperwork, benefits, checklist, etc.
  • Attends and participates in employee relations meetings including disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations as needed
  • Assist in recruiting efforts including interviews and facilitating hiring of qualified candidates; collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings; attend recruiting meetings
  • Support Program Management team with managing tasks and deliverables, planning and implementation of projects
  • Maintain employee data in benefit websites and assist with open enrollment
  • Maintain employee records to ensure all records are up to date
  • Conducts and/or acquires background checks and other employee eligibility verifications, E-Verify and MD New Hire
  • Launch and track annual compliance training
  • Maintain and produce reports on a regular basis which include but not limited to the following, International Contract Tracker, and Expense Reports
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (Human Resource Management preferred)
  • Three (3) years of previous Human Resources related experience
  • Knowledge of HRIS, E-Verify, MD New Hire or similar

Qualifications Desired
  • Experience with benefits administration and SignNow or similar
  • Experience with supporting/processing employees for international deployments or assignments

  • Microsoft Office Intermediate (Excel, Word, Outlook)
