Gridiron is seeking a Data Architect for a Federal Program in Washington, DC. Must be eligable to obtain a Federal Clearance before starting (6-8 weeks). Role will begin remotely and will eventually move to on site after COVID.
In this role, you will Manage 600 million+ records in a large-scale data warehouse utilizing big data, analytics to Manage, architect and analyze big data in support of an important federal agency. Demonstrate strong architecture skills, data modeling skills, data warehouse and data mart skills. Technologies include SQL Server, Azure Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI and Case Management data concepts.
Understand how data modeling decisions lead toward efficient software operation and report generation. Data Architect should have prior experience designing data models for the Cloud with an eye toward cost-efficient design. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Work with senior executive-level federal clients to deliver important, high-profile solutions Act as the architect for transformative agency opportunities, enabling an end-to-end analytics journey Responsible for creating current and to-be state consumer data models (leverage automation) Ensure the to-be model is inclusive of integration of data across systems, collection, storage, processing, management, governance and analysis of data Provide leadership to the delivery teams on "what to do" and "how to do it" Accountable for ensuring that the projects or programs adhere to Delivery best practices and principles Play a key role on the leadership team ndash building the advisory practice, assets, and providing thought leadership Cascade engagement-specific objectives and use these to drive performance evaluation across the delivery team In order to be considered for this role, you must have B.S.
Degree Required and 3 years experience. 3 years Data Architecture Experience 3 years ETL System Admin Experience Must be able to develop deep client relationship and effectively manage and independently shape an opportunity. Understanding of Agile Methodologies Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills We also prefer you have Experience working within federally accredited environments (FedRamp, DISA IL) Ability to understand and articulate deployment considerations with respect to cost, scalability and security.
