**PORTFOLIO SUBMISSION REQUIRED WITH APPLICATION - FOR CONSIDERATION** Summary The Graphic Designer is an exempt position that reports directly to the Vice President, Marketing. This position will play a crucial role in helping to develop and refine the visual identity of an established leader in its category with the goal of visually express ing authentic brand differentiation in the mar ketplace that is true to the firm’s core values and future vision. The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to blend creative vision with a practical understanding of how the details of brand elements and assets come together holistically.

Other duties may be assigned : + Demonstrate the mission, vision, values, and culture principles of GG+A + With members of the marketing team, collaborate with internal clients to develop both print and digital assets aligned with broader firm-wide marketing plans and strategic goals; e.g. advertising creative, social media assets, presentation templates, etc. + Ensure consistency in the visual expression of the firm’s brand across collateral and channels + Develop a suite of templates to enable freelancers, consultants, members of the Consulting Resources and Business Development teams to create brand-aligned materials that support firm and client goals + With the VP of Marketing, develop systems of materials that visually express the unique product offerings of the firm while ensuring coherence across the brand + With the VP of Marketing and marketing team, work to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and standards across the firm, including facilitating training programs for staff members as needed + Use knowledge of design thinking and principles of design to provide advisement and feedback to marketing team members and other staff members on design and design-related project best practices as needed + Prepare dashboards and reports on design-related work to leadership team as needed, e.g.
on brand audit, value proposition, sub-branding efforts, etc. + In time, with the VP of Marketing, work with an agency to develop a refreshed visual identity and new brand guidelines based upon the development of new key messaging for the firm + Oversee interns to execute on graphic design projects that meet the firm’s standards + Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners Education and Experience + Bachelor’s degree required. + Minimum of 3 years’ experience with direct experience stewarding a brand’s visual identity + Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel + Experience designing in PowerPoint preferred + Demonstrated proficiency using design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, etc.
+ Demonstrated understanding of the design and production process from start to finish + Familiar with print production elements, including paper, mailing, and packaging + Experience developing materials that express both digitally and in print + Experience managing internal/external clients and vendors preferred + Ability to successfully manage a workload that balances long-range planning with the unanticipated daily demands of managing publicly visible projects Communication and Relationship Skills + Ability to provide trusted and highly valued client-service, with focus on continual improvement + Ability to establish, cultivate and nurture high value relationships internally and externally (staff, consultants, external business partners) + Demonstrate motivated initiative with a “can-do” approach for results-oriented outcomes + Demonstrated pride in teamwork and outcomes + Demonstrate professional interpersonal skills + Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication + Demonstrated ability to use diplomacy and tact in all communication, written and verbal + Ability to read and comprehend intermediate instructions given from written and oral sources + Ability to write professional correspondence with clarity and accuracy + Ability to effectively present information to internal/external stakeholders with professionalism, comfort, clarity and accuracy + Desirable traits: Creative, curious, flexible, detail-oriented + Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English fluently R easoning/Analytic Skills + Ability to work independently and know when to seek guidance from leadership + Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines + Ability to identify problems and provide solutions toward a course of action for their resolution, including knowing when to communicate and engage others + Ability to think analytically and proactively solve problems + Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects demonstrating structured organization and astute attention to detail + Demonstrate sound discretion, professional judgement and business ethics in decision making P hysical and Travel Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
