Basic Machine Operator

Responsibility:
Responsible for operating Gel Machines and Total Finished product machines while upholding quality standards
Complete all documentation (e.g. Traceability’s) and follow all GDP guidelines related to manufacturing processes in a timely manner.
Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s)
Check production performance throughout shift to ensure goal is being reach
Package Semi Finished Products
Ability to perform basic math functions
Ensure that tube labels, rack labels, and Lot Numbers match with DHR.
Understand Functionality with Z-Point Computer Software.
Raise any manufacturing process issues or equipment issues in a timely manner to minimize scrap and downtime.
Record and communicate any test results that are out of specification limit
Complete understanding of DHR, Production Order, and Material List
Have the ability to assist other operators as necessary to ensure proper work instructions and quality procedures are being followed
Collect and properly record production and quality data
Assure components are replenished
Follow cGMP guidelines at all times
Complete cleaning of the equipment and area to ensure next shift is ready to start
Collaborate with Technical staff to suggest improvements and participate in periodic equipment maintenance.
Assure all IPC checks are completed correctly and on time
Perform Other duties as assigned
Authority:
Perform Quality Inspection - In Process Control
Maintain Shift End Communication Between Shifts
Discuss Machine Issues with Shift Supervisor
Job Requirements:
High School Education or Equivalent preferred
Manufacturing experience preffered
Basic Computer Skills
Strong written and Communication Skills
Must pass pre-employment exam/qualification test
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to perform fast pace and detailed packaging work.
Must have appropriate vision to perform detailed quality inspection as outlined in SOPs and TPs.
