Job Description: Director of Operations
Salary: $50-75K plus benefits
GreenForce is a rapidly growing company and one of the largest employers in the cannabis industry in providing Compliant Labor Solutions to the Oregon Recreational Cannabis Market is currently looking for a Director of Operations. This person possesses strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented attitude, clear communication, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a face-paced environment where multitasking and prioritizing are required. The Director of Operations will collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth communications, oversight, and processes while helping develop best business practices and strategies.
The successful candidate will be working alongside a team of collaborative, good-humored, easy-going yet hard-working individuals committed to best practices for our employees, partners, and the industry. As Director of Operations, you’ll develop operational strategies in concert with the chief executive officer and the operations team in order to help GreenForce grow and thrive.
Provide leadership, oversight and support for all departments
Day to day activities
Mentor and guide departments to maximize efficiency and quality of work
Provide constructive feedback
Work with CEO managing strategic projects and planning, including strategies for future growth and scale
Audit business SOPs and practices to identify areas to improve operational efficiencies
Designing & implementing smooth operational systems to manage growth / scale
Including metrics to evaluate business growth and employee performances
Developing and implementing guidelines for employee evaluations, recruitment and promotion
Maintaining and managing departmental budgets and expense oversight
Maintaining legal documents: business registration / license, operational agreements, employment filings, etc.
Maintain compliance with all city, county, state and federal regulations and laws
Conflict management throughout all levels of the organization.
Manage executive and leadership team meetings
Account management support of the Sales and Field Operations team
Cultivate productive / healthy work culture
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop trust and build rapport across the organization
Strong conflict resolution skills with ability to execute unbiased investigation and documentation
Maintain professional boundaries and handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands
Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing activities to meet deadlines and organizational needs.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Willingness to learn new systems
Ability to analyze data and metrics
Ability to manage multiple departments and delegate duties appropriately
Strong accounting and budgeting skills
Creative problem solver
Knowledge of best practices in HR
Valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit
Bachelor’s Degree or higher or equivalent experience. Business Administration preferred
3+ years in Operations
Knowledge of the cannabis industry preferred
Willingness to invest and grow with the organization
