Job Title: Freelance Landscape Designer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance Landscape Designer to create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces for our clients in Los Angeles. As a freelance designer, you will be responsible for designing and planning landscape projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they meet the client's needs, budget, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to determine design goals and objectives for their outdoor space.
• Create detailed landscape designs, including hardscape and softscape elements, that meet the client's needs and budget.
• Develop and maintain project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Select appropriate plants, materials, and decor to enhance the overall aesthetic of the landscape.
• Work with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment needed for each project.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to identify any potential challenges or limitations.
• Maintain a high level of creativity and innovation in designing new landscapes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in designing and planning landscapes for residential or commercial clients.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in landscape design.
• Knowledge of design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members and clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions: This is a freelance position, and the working conditions will vary depending on the scope and timeline of each project. The designer will need to be able to work remotely and be available to work outside of regular business hours as needed. Some travel may be required to visit clients or suppliers.
