Green Check Labs seeks to become the leading Licensed Cannabis Testing Laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Green Check Labs brings a state-of-the-art clinical testing lab and a culture that fosters a personal commitment to sound science and service excellence to the cannabis industry. We are seeking a motivated lab manager with the following qualifications:

• Oversee laboratory operations, experienced in method development and R&D activities
• Perform calibrations and routine maintenance of analytical instrumentation as needed
• Perform data review and data analysis utilizing validated analytical methods
• Demonstrate proficiency with software from a variety of equipment manufacturers
• Set-up and operation of HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, ICP-MS a plus
• Manage workflow assessment and efficiency
• Manage training programs relating to analytical instrumentation and data analysis
• Demonstrate ability to multitask and prioritize projects efficiently in a high throughput environment
• Maintain a safe, clean, well-organized, and efficient laboratory work environment
• Maintain SOPs and documentation required for compliance as needed
• Assist in maintaining the laboratory for ISO accreditation standards, GLP and audits

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess either:
• A PhD in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university preferred,
• A master’s degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university, plus at least 5 years of full-time practical experience,
• A bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university, plus at least 4 years of full-time practical experience
• Exceptional wet laboratory technique and ability to perform documentation for ISO standards.
• At least 3 years of experience in a regulated or high throughput laboratory environment

• Testing Lab Management: 5 years (Preferred)
• Chemist: 5 years (Required)
• Wet Laboratory: 3 years (Preferred)
