The Training Coordinator will assess, create, develop, implement, and conduct training programs across the business unit. They will ensure compliance by maintaining employee training records.

The Training Coordinator will assess, create, develop, implement, and conduct training programs across the business unit. They will ensure compliance by maintaining employee training records.
What You’ll Do:
- Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, shadowing, and communication with the leadership team and hourly employees.
- Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of skills training for employees.
- Works with Human Resources and Operational Leader to develop unique training programs to fulfill workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
- Creates and/or update training procedures and guides.
- Will be responsible for conducting training through various formats.
- Maintains records of training activities, results, and retraining requirements.
- Assess training materials prepared by supervisors/superintendents/area leaders.
- Evaluate training through assessments, surveys, feedback.
- Audit employees to measure training effectiveness.
- Work with Human Resources/Operational Leader to develop and implement a Train-the-Trainer program and certify trainers.
- Maintain all employee training files and ensure accuracy of completed training documents.
- Participate in the new employee orientation program.
- Participate in area continuous improvement efforts including Employee Engagement activities.
- Work closely with EHS, Quality, Human Resources and Operations team to develop and execute training programs.
- Assist with safety audits.
- Present proposals, project planning, and findings to management team.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
- Ability to work under pressure and make deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills.
- At least two years of training and development experience required. Direct training development experience in manufacturing setting strongly preferred.
- Must have proficient Microsoft skills, specifically Excel.
- Working hours will vary to allow accessibility to employees. Must be flexible to work nights/weekends as needed to assess training.
- Job is performed in an office environment and on the manufacturing floor which can, at times, be extreme heat.
- Must be able to stand, walk for 8+ hours.
- Occasionally files, documents, etc., weighing up to 40 lbs, will need to be transported.
