The Data Analyst will help define and lead the way on how data are collected, transformed and leveraged throughout the organization. Data Analyst will partner with teams across the enterprise to drive operational, clinical, financial, and strategic improvements using data tools, and strong collaboration. Collaboration is key component of this role as the team is dedicated to continuous learning and improvement. This role will work closely with Clinical, Operational, and Finance Leadership to conduct reporting request analyses, documentation of reporting requirements, coordinating development efforts with third-party report development partner, and maintaining communication with the requesting users and data management stakeholders.

Incumbents must have experience in data and analytics in healthcare (FQHC setting preferred) and have keen understanding of healthcare technology. The Data Analyst must be able to earn the respect of internal and external business customers and instill confidence that the handling and management of their data requests are maintained with the proper level of attention to detail and adherence to agreed schedules. Fluent in statistical methods, practical experimental design and technology career development. Active technical participant while providing effective leadership and advisory to the team, partners, and customers. The Data Analyst should have experience collaborating between clinical and business teams, along with ability to maintain collaborative relationship with developers as the primary responsible party for providing timely reports and analyses to stakeholders across the organization.


  • Have a clear understanding of the data and end-user workflows to validate accurate results and reconcile discrepancies, when necessary, in conjunction with junior analysts and data consumer.
  • System administration of Population Health Management application (i2iTracks) and other out of the box EHR reporting tools and leverage system(s) to generate basic reporting requests and deliver data requests to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and partner with executive leadership, finance, operational management teams and analytical colleagues.
  • Recommend enhancements to existing business intelligence processes or policies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and conduct quality assurance analyses and data quality monitoring processes to ensure results and interpretation are error-free and optimize data integrity throughout team.
  • Convert desired outcomes into value-based business initiatives, linking them to specific analytics, and applying interpretation methods/ techniques to create value
  • Performs descriptive and/or in-depth analysis of data to help decision making, by extracting, cleaning, summarizing, and tabulating.
  • Participate in and/or lead projects of moderate to complex scope as assigned and manages multiple internal and external.
  • Perform data analysis and provide consultative and advisory recommendations to service area leaders to support data requirements for strategic operational and financial decisions.
  • Prepares departmental and/or state required reports related to health care quality improvement initiatives including HEDIS.
  • Coordinate development of complex clinical reports including, but not limited to, utilization, performance, and efficiency relevant to Patient Care.
  • Coordinate development and automation of reports.
  • Conduct ongoing user education and provides feedback on the use and interpretation of analyses, reports, methodologies and source data and systems to management and clinical, quality, and EHR support teams.

  • Strong experience in understanding stakeholder data and reporting needs, documenting partner needs, documenting detailed report requirements.
  • Initiative-taker and creative thinker with ability to learn quickly and efficiently problem solve.
  • Knowledge and experience in finance, healthcare analytics, and understanding of CPT and ICD codes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical concepts in common terms.
  • Ability to work independently with little guidance or oversight.
  • Ability to understand big picture as well as to pay attention to detail.


Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Management/leadership, Analytics and/or Computer Science.

  • Strong healthcare financial reporting, preferably in an FQHC-type organization.
  • Experience navigating in Electronic Health Record systems (eClinicalworks).
  • Healthcare informatics experience highly preferred.
  • Working understanding of SQL and database concepts
  • 3+ years of experience on business intelligence teams, preferable in a healthcare organization.
  • Experience with Population Health Management tool (i2iTracks) is preferred
  • Understanding of Microsoft tools; PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, VisualStudio.
