The Opportunity

Gravy Analytics is seeking a driven and experienced self-starter with a proven sales track record. The successful candidate should be able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and must be singularly driven by results. Prior experience selling in the following areas is highly desirable:  spatial intelligence, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, logistics, supply chain, and commercial real estate.


What You Will Do

  • Work with Account Management and Sales Ops teams to assess viability and fit of opportunities and have the ability to quickly qualify or disqualify opportunities.
  • Create and maintain accurate and up to date account plans - keep the CRM system current.
  • Deliver against revenue targets of $1.5 million.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts and business updates to the Gravy sales and executive team.
  • Prospect and hunt new business opportunities. 
  • Become an industry expert in assigned verticals to help understand use cases and the solutions to help solve them.


Qualifications

  • This position requires a minimum of 5+ years work experience selling software or data and analytics products.
  • Must have a hunter mentality, experience identifying new logos is a must.
  • The ideal candidate will be team and customer service oriented, with the ability to understand customer challenges and demonstrate how Gravy’s data products can address those challenges.
  • Proven track record as a sales executive with a focus on selling technology solutions; experience with location intelligence is a plus.
  • A robust network of contacts and relationships that you can call on readily to introduce Gravy.
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively present and communicate a value proposition in front of large groups of people, including senior executives, and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Good organization skills and great communication, listening, and documentation skills.
  • Experience working remotely,
  • Ability to multi-task is a must have.
  • Willingness to travel, when necessary, for client meetings, conventions, quarterly business reviews.
