Project Estimator/Project Manager

The Project Manager will work closely with the customers, vendors, and hollow metal fabricating shop to provide all materials according to contracts. The PM will execute all aspects of the job from inception to completion. Projects consist of bidding, creating shop drawings & HDW schedules per blueprints and architects spec books, creating purchase orders, executing change orders as well as continued correspondence with customers and vendors until the project are completed.
Qualifications/Experience:
Experience and/or knowledge of Architectural Doors & HDW a plus but not required.
Construction/building products knowledge a plus.
Experience with or able to read blueprints and spec books a plus but not required.
Computer literate – Excel, Word, Internet.
Attention to detail is a must, good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be Self-motivated, willing to learn and be a problem solver.
Customer Service oriented.
The ideal candidate will take-off projects from blueprints and spec books, request vendor material pricing, bid projects, order materials, miscellaneous office tasks such as creating and filling PO's and invoices and assist in all other processes required to complete projects on time and on budget. Normal daily functions consist of, but not limited to are working on a computer, answering phones, helping check-in products, assist walk-in customers/contractors, and occasional office duties. This is not a work from home, remote position.
