Job Description

Grand Mutual Insurance specializes in both personal and commercial insurance services for individuals and companies of all sizes. Our seasoned team works with customers to develop a plan to identify, appraise, secure, and protect their portfolio of personal and commercial assets with confidentiality and professionalism. We represent hundreds of insurance carriers, which allows us to provide you with quality coverage at affordable prices. We offer a full range of insurance products.

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for service and retention of a growing book of business
  • Create and maintain strong business relationships with clients
  • Establish new client relationships while servicing existing client relationships; Respond to client requests
  • Set up accounts in management system Monitor and manage Agency's renewals
  • Perform other office tasks such as answering phones, copying, faxing, taking messages, distributing mail items, etc.
  • Provide support in production of new accounts
  • Retain and manage existing accounts
  • Create account submissions, quote risks in rating systems, create proposals, complete the binding of coverage, and issue policies; provide Certificates of Insurance.
  • Stay informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance
  • Analyze complex insurance situations and communicate options in a clear and concise manner
  • Work independently and take the lead on all elements of client servicing.
  • Review quotes, organize and prepare proposals
  • Work effectively within the organization to resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and achievement of objectives
  • Perform essential functions to the quality and service standards of the agency.
  • Marketing new and renewal accounts;
  • Developing insurance quotes; All Lines of Business.
  • Make professional presentations
  • Provide prompt, accurate and friendly client support;
  • Review and process policy endorsements.
  • Facilitate Marketing campaigns (target mailings, email blasts, social media etc.)


  • 3-5 years of direct experience in commercial real estates, handling sales, marketing claims and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to promptly answer sales/service phone calls and emails.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Must have the ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
