Job Description

You’ll be part of a team reporting to a Supervisor, Customer Experience. Join us at 401 S. Wright Road, Janesville, WI 53546.


Pay:

Start at $16.75/hour with three automatic raises in 12 months bringing your pay to $17.95/hour!

Shifts, Training & Work Environment:

Enjoy your weekends off while working 8:30am- 5pm Central time Monday through Friday!

Our 8-week training academy will provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to best serve our customers. Grainger provides laptop, dual monitors, keyboard and accessories. All 8 weeks of training will be completed at 401 South Wright Road. 

After graduation (completion of 8-week training), team members meeting work from home requirements will enjoy a hybrid work environment of three days onsite and two days at home (2 days working at the office and at home are your choice and can change each week based on your preference).

By meeting defined performance expectations, you can earn the opportunity to work from home up to 5 days a week, typically after 6 months.

You Will:

  • Build customer relationships by responding to a high volume of INBOUND phone calls.
  • Work with customers and Sales team members daily in a team-based environment.
  • Use a computer and multiple computer programs with periods of sitting up to 8 hours per day.
  • Resolve customers’ challenges by using all resources for account selection, product identification, order placement, and order management.
  • Resolve pricing and invoicing discrepancies, apply credit, and implement return procedures.

You Have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Ability to commute to our facility from your home.
  • A secure workspace at home dedicated to job activity.
  • Proficiency in operating and navigating multiple PC-based programs at once.
  • Stable internet with ability to provide proof of internet speeds greater than 5 megabits per second upload, 15 megabits per second download and ping less than 80 milliseconds.
