Job Description

We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join a top peforming team!

  • Work with other team members both within and outside of the Quality department to resolve issues, establish and improve standards, and minimizing wasted labor, material, and customer issues.
  • APQP activities considering customer specific requirements throughout the product development phases including PPAP submission.
  • Provides support to the quality department by development and initiation of standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Develop sampling procedures, designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Sustain relationships with customers and suppliers, communicating quality issues with both.
  • Trains cell leaders engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning customer requirements.
  • Specialize in quality engineering areas such as software research and development, automated development, metrology, cost of reliability.
  • Develop and update specific work instructions and quality documentation, including Quality Alerts, Control Plans, Process FMEA's and Process Flowcharts.
  • Drive all control objectives, actions or procedures in order to correct quality issues that will improve quality measures

Experience & Education:
  • At least 3-5 years related experience manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have quality engineering experience within the automotive manufacturing industry
  • Undergraduate degree in either industrial or manufacturing engineering related field
