Logistics Analyst

An established employer is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join the team! The Logistics Analyst studies and oversees the supply chain of the organization to implement changes to make it more effective and efficient. The logistics analyst will often collaborate with managers and coordinators to streamline production workflows, monitor spending, optimize inventory and determine better transportation routes to improve delivery speed.
- Work directly with carriers to track and trace driver dispatch, in-time truck arrival at supplier location, and on-time truck departure from supplier location
- Appropriately escalate incident reports related to damage claims or delay issues
- Initiate claim process and follow through to resolution of the claim
- Support all MNA operation procedures for customer and carrier
- Follow up on pending issues
- During shipment running, verify all necessary charges in systems
- For extra charges, collect necessary evidence and get written approval or proper communication evidence
- Coordinate BID process for extra load and regular carrier drop orders
- Collect carrier offer and make sheet in a timely manner
- Finalize BID and dispatch truck according to protocol
- Monitor and follow up with dispatched trucks
