Recruiting to fill a full time Director of Development & Planned Giving, based in Norwood, MA.
In concert with the President of the Foundation, determine strategic fundraising goals and objectives as well as fundraising strategies to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); and monitor KPIs throughout the year.
Responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and securing gifts according to the organization's annual projections from private sources in support of current programs and projects, endowment, and research.
Identify planned giving and major gift prospects, and plan strategies for engagement and cultivation; plan fundraising programs and events; identify, recruit, and coordinate volunteers.
Responsible for a multi-channel fundraising-annual giving campaign.
Provides administrative oversight of all fundraising activities by the appointed team in support of campaigns and other foundation initiatives including the development and management of budgets for development team and any initiatives thereof and ensures travel planning and effective use of organizational resources
Practice active portfolio management and document in contact reports. Track development actions and next steps in constituent relationship management database
Develop and provide proper stewardship to donors. Work with the Marketing and Communications staff and others to develop appropriate donor cultivation and publicity materials
: Over 10-year experience as Director of Development & Major Gift expert with well accomplished track record in both. Experience working in an healthcare non-profit setting preferred
