Client Overview

Our client is a design-oriented firm with projects ranging from Multi-Family, Civic, Mixed-Use, Education/Healthcare, and Corporate Office. The training and support is world-class, meaning if you have the passion and desire, you can be highly successful in this role. This role focuses on the design aspects of a project rather than the technical. Our clients range in size, and this position may be with a firm ranging from 10 people to over 350. If you want to pursue a design-oriented position and work on exciting, high-profile projects, than this Architectural Designer position is for you!

Designer Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree from an Accredited School or Equivalent
  • 2-12 Years of Experience Post Graduation
  • Proven experience in presentations, concept design, programming, schematic design, and design development
  • Project Experience is flexible, background in relevant types is a bonus and highly preferred
  • Revit, AutoCAD, SKetchUP, 3D Modeling Skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and with members of cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in working with clients and illustrating design ideas

Designer Responsibilities

  • Work with clients, the production team, and outside consultants to craft and complete designs
  • Develop design concepts for various client needs and building types and bring designs through programming
  • Perform document production by developing design and technical drawings. Conduct code and product research.
  • Follow up with project teams and ensure design accuracy is maintained
  • Work alongside senior staff to evaluate individual project needs and coordinate with consultants
  • Demonstrate motivation in seeking new responsibilities and challenges
  • Review drawings, ensure accurate document preparation
