Job Description

GovTemps USA is accepting resumes from qualified candidates for a 20+ hour/week position of Police Records Clerk at the Village of South Barrington. Selected candidate will be an employee of GovTemps with services contracted to the Village.

General Responsibilities:

  • Collection, processing and dissemination of all reports of Criminal, Traffic, and Service related
    activity as submitted by all units of the Department.
  • Acts as local central repository for collection, dissemination and recordings of all Circuit Court related materials initiated from within the Village.
  • Provide assistance and information in a professional and courteous manner to Police Department staff and the general public, and be able to interact in a professional and responsive manner to representatives of other related external agencies.

Position Requirements: Related experience with a suburban Police Department is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits: $21-25/hour. DOQ. Flexible work schedule. Benefits include up to 3% employer match towards an IRA retirement plan and employer contribution to health insurance.
