Experience: Previous retail management experience required, preferred in luxury fashion. Extensive knowledge of merchandise, including mountain lifestyle brands, skiwear, accessories, home furnishings, and gifts. Engaging communication and strong interpersonal skills. Strong supervisory skills. Experience and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining a productive and positive work environment.

Possess clientele book, with ability to sell to high end customers.

Three to five plus year working with luxury merchandise.

General Duties:

Works with the Store Manager on schedules and assigning Staff to specific duties.

Supervises Staff engaged in sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with till report, or preparing daily record of transactions for accounting, or performs work of all positions in store, as needed.

Support all merchandise replenish supply is maintained. 

Support compliance of Staff with established security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures and policies.

Ensure that each Customer receives outstanding Customer Service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of Customer Service. 

Answers customer's complaints or inquiries.

Locks and secures store, or ensures the key holder follows the proper security protocols at every closing. 

Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.    

Work with team to recruit, hire, train, and evaluate personnel, offering feedback about promoting or separating workers when appropriate. 

Maintain store standards, such as cleaning and organizing shelves, storage areas and displays. 

Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for their department. 

Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised. 

Preview, correct, and ensure accuracy of staff timecards for payroll, including approvals of all punches each period. 

Review inventory and sales records.

Confer with company leadership, executive and management, to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business.

Establish credit policies and operating procedures, ensure compliance with all these policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, walk through and audits. 

Create a positive team environment.

Authorize payments and merchandise returns.

Take responsibilities for all store operations, by finding solutions and solving challenges timely.  

Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) in business, fashion, retail management; or four plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Posses Clientele book, with ability to sell to high end customers.

Three to five plus year working with luxury merchandise.

Prior management  in retail, experience in luxury fashion, lifestyle brand knowledge preferred. Must be comfortable using a computer - basic navigation in MS products and online systems. Ability to solve complex problems and handle complaints with poise, remaining polite and professional during extensive process of challenges.  Must work 8-6 for at least 5 days a week, including weekends and holidays.

Other compensation include ski pass or transportation, benefits such as medical insurance at a combined estimate of additional $7,600/year.

Pay is paid commiserate with experience and volume of sales.
